A Little Key Word Goes a Long Way

I may be starting to get this SEO thing. I looked at Google Trends and picked 3 of the top 10 search arguments. I used them in the title, the first paragraphs, and the tags of my article Sarah Palin Exploits Sesame Street Anniversary and Big Bird's Birthday in Her Book Tour. By gosh, in just a couple of hours I have more page views than I've gotten in a couple of days. The best part was that the article itself is nonsense. Well, it has a sort of metaphorical or higher truth, especially for the more addled reader.

I'm going to continue to try to refine my technique. It may be possible to SEO everything and only compromise on the title, the first paragraph, and the tags. Christmas may come to Chez Katz after all.

I've reproduced my picture of the Moderately Golden Cafe I posted in response to a comment by a member who has mentioned the "golden cafe" several times in his comments lately when he was referring to the aureate bovine idol mentioned in the book of Exodus.

I tried it a few months ago, Kappy...it works in the case of views, but I have no idea how it affects the point accrual algorithm du jour. Didn't seem to do much for the Dame's bottom line. Or bottom.
