My Mom and Dad came to my home to see my DH, myself and their twin grand daughters last Thursday to today. I already miss them. They went back to West Covina and we will probably see them again in January....
My Son and I talked for a couple of hours last evening. It sure felt good. I miss the kid but his business is in College Station Texas and thats a long way to go visit from MT. We have always been as close as to men can get.
Oh, that is nice Col. It is never easy begin away from a parent or parents and children. Especially if you really love them and want to still take care of and protect them. Even if they are 'adults'.
I have no need to protect or guide that kid he is smarter and more world wise than I ever was. The thing is, he is my Life and my only true friend. Without him I am nothing. He is the only really Good thing I have contributed to this world in my lifetime.
Oh Col. that is the nicest thing a father could say to his son. I bet your son would get all sentimental for you saying that. More sons and daughthers need to know their Dad or Mom feel this way about them.
Sadly, this is true. I am blessed to know my parents love and would protect me at any cost. Being loved, by your parents, is the most important thing any person needs and desires above all.
