April, so good to hear from you and first of all, I do wish I had your brain - yes, indeed - that is a wonderful accomplishment to get a bachelors in anything but especially an engineering field...also, I could also use your organization skills...I too am getting better at cooking - I cook everything from scratch - give me an onion and olive oil and I can make anything - of course, I'm mostly a vegetarian cook so have to use my imagination many times! My good qualities are - hummm - still thinking about that one - but I would say that I am usually always in a good mood when I am around folks - not that I stay in a good mood but I do try to keep my moods to myself.
I'm good at money management and time management - I'm highly considerate of others time and am never late - I always do what I say I'll do but it may take a bit longer. I don't bite off more than I can chew and know how to say no firmly but politely!
I am polite and believe in good manners - by the age of two every child should know how to say please and thank you - what do you think?
I love animals and care for strays in various ways and means...I would never allow anything to suffer if I'm aware of it. Love is love and the love of animals is unconditional - I am glad that I learned that early in life...

Those are wonderful qualities to have Mariana! I think that children should be taught good manners as well. Please and Thank You were some of the first signs that Little Miss learned! So now it's not a chore for her to use them, it's just what you do.

I love the animals too! Even my brother's loud dog that gets on my nerves : )

Hi April - thanks - I will look around your page once I get back to Calif - I'm very behind on my commenting for which I apologize - thanks for letting me know as I do appreciate new recipes - I mostly do stir-fry and soupls or pastas - Boca burgers! things like that - lots of raw or steamed veggies - think I'll fix some cabbage soup for this evening...Salud

I've started making my own veggie burgers, although I do sometmes get the frozen ones when there is a really good sale. It's actually pretty easy to make a big batch of burgers and keep them in the freezer, though!

Working on it constantly will improve you're skills in that area every time. Repetition is such a great teacher!

I'm amazed at how satisfying cooking has become now that I do it a lot. I still occasionally get in a funk where I don't want to cook, but it happens less frequently now!
