Auction Finds-Part Deux

In part one of this auction adventure I showed you some really nice antiques that I am not wealthy enough to purchase. Now let me show you what I did buy and why I did. I will preface by saying that my husband instructed me to only purchase things that I could put to use TODAY or see in our home. Now that leaves most antiques out but there are things that only buy because I collect them or in one case started to collect them.

Again I will post all the pictures in the body of the post and you can read the comment with the upload. What I didn't take a photo of is the bread dough kneader and stainless steel fryer I can use for time saving during holiday baking. In fact I don't think I would be doing any unless I had found them. Enjoy the pics.

I'm a thrift store junkie myself. Love the old photographs you scored. Idea for keeping them: I have a good pile of family photographs going back through my childhood and before. I put them all in an interesting round basket that sits on the top of my thrift store find old piano. That way, people can pick up the basket and just rummage through the photos at their leisure, something especially enjoyed by family members.
