When I get to work, at a bit before 6 every morning, there's a large group of peacocks and peahens that hang out right in the opening in the gate. They can get really nasty if anyone tries to shoo them away, and flashing the headlights does nothing. Honk the horn, and they'll attack. What works is turning the music up really loud. Then, they slowly saunter out of the way. They're beautiful, but the people who live very close to the school say they're horribly noisy and they terrorize little pets and babies!
