Attention, Lulu.com Authors!

I logged in at Author's Den today, to update my page and discovered some interesting news. It seems the Author's Den and Lulu.com have combined forces to increase your marketing potential. If you have an account at Lulu.com and are a member of Author's Den you now qualify for their new publishing partnership.

I signed up for this; I'll keep you informed on how it goes.

Update: Finally heard back from Lulu.com. It seems the Authors Den/Lulu.com Partnership is only open to non-published Lulu.com members. So if you have published book on Lulu.com you don't qualify.

Here's their official email-

"Thank you for your interest in the Lulu Partner Program.

I would like to inform you that, according to our records you are a published author on Lulu.com. As a published Lulu author you are not eligible to participate in the Partner Program. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Please visit (http://www.lulu.com/en/help/partner_program) for details on the program and how it operates. "

I have an author's den thing, but I can't remember the last time I updated it.

Oh, this sounds interesting. I think I have an author's den account, but I've not been using it for ages. Hope you'll tell us more, and meanwhile I'll try to remember to go over there and see.

I sent an email to Lulu.com to link my account with Authors Den, but I haven't heard back yet.

By the way, my 3 books disappeared off Amazon then reappeared. Very strange. (I wish the others ones would magically appear there too:) )

Just wondered if you'd heard back yet. I wished they'd given more information on the sign-up page - the cynic in me always wants to read the small print before making any kind of commitment.

I suppose you could always use a different email address and make a new account, though I'm not sure if that's cheating. I'd actually thought of doing that anyway to keep different genres on different storefronts.
