Day three brought some more help on the rehab inquiry on the NaNo forums. I've said it before and I'll say it again - those forums are just blissful! Between that and the help I've gotten from that other woman, I should be good to go.
Still plugging along in the dark (unplotted territory) but getting my momentum going. Perhaps that had something to do with the CAFFEINE and chocolate loaded trail mix. Perhaps not, but I'm testing it out again today.
We are getting closer to the prom and accident, but they might get moved back to chapter five. Not sure just yet how I feel about waiting so long to get to the fateful accident, but I do like showing Valerie's character for a few chapters so we can get a feel for how her life was, and just how much this accident impacts it all.
All in all I did very well yesterday and rounded out the night with just under 6,000 words. That averages out to 2,000 a day - my personal minimal goal per day. So, not terribly bad, really. The minimal to finish in 30 days would have been 5,001 words.

How are you all progressing?
