Bloomberg managed to squeek by to the win, after outspending the opponant 10 to 1, but I heard he is a pretty competent guy, so good on N.Y., for turning out for him.
I forget the names of some of the more publicized races, but I heard, Corzine, the Democrat ran negative adds, and was not that competant, so the voters sent him packing, and the Republican candidate ran a clean race, so congrats to the voters for rejecting negative campaign tactics. Good on you!
Overhearing some analysis on the Dems. losses in some areas it looks like the analyzers are not quite getting it. Although divisive issues may tug at voters hearts, it's JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, baby, that will bring in the votes in this economic situation. In the analysis of what the various sides need to do, when stratgizing for their campaigns, going forward, many hot button issues were mentioned, but nothing was said about jobs.
"It's the economy, stupid"
People rejected Palin/Dick Armey and the TEA PARTY movement: that's the other big story. The tea patiers candidate got rejected.
Democrats wake up. If you don't pass health care, we will not bother to go out and vote for you. That's my last takeaway
