Beauty is not
in the eye of the beholder,
but
in all things that exist.
In all
men
women
children
people
places
things
ideas
there is an inherent
beauty that
can never be removed,
replaced, or
altered, regardless of
physical appearance.
We grow, we learn.
We live, we love.
We laugh and sigh.
We live, then die.
Our beauty is not physical.
Our emotions are not mental.
Our being is a constant thing.
Life is beauty.
NOTE: This poem was inspired by a short answer question for e.l.f.'s representative model contest.
