A Good 24 Hours

Yesterday we had a late celebration for my son's birthday on the 1st. A good meal with my daughter and ex not very late as usual. My daughter gave me my birthday gifts, too.

Her selection of clothes for me is always welcome, but her choices aren't usually what I would have picked. This year she bought me so much! Better yet, I not only needed the clothes but really liked everything. The colors were pretty with little feminine touches. I hadn't bought blue jeans in years so I'm excited to have the jeans. Best of all-everything fit. That's not usual.

After 3 days of no computer, I was excited to find out I was an alternate for winning two books. Today I was notified that I'd be getting the books. It's good to be a winner!

Here's hoping I can have even more good days ahead.
