Grocery Shopping

We all need to shop and there is no reason to spend full price for everything. I see so many people overpay when I'm shopping and yes sometimes you can't find a good deal and have to pay more than everyone else. Many people have posted Mary I buy generic and yes sometimes that is the right answer, but when I can get the name brand for free, then you are wasting money.

Today I can see from my ads that if your spending $50 go to Vons. You will get the following free eggs, orange juice, bacon and bread. Yes they are generic, so I do buy some generic. Good 11-7 and 11-8 only. You will receive a $5 coupon when you spend $25, so if you want the freebies, then you will have $10 for your next shopping trip or more. This is good until 11-29.

If you like cereal, then that is a great deal, as buy 4 boxes to save. Its good on certain General Mills and a brand I have started eating Kashi.

I follow the deals that I can find on www.afullcup.com and make most of my shopping lists according to the deals posted there by store.

I wait for Publix ad, make my list for the week. I love Publix BoGo's so I can sombine with coupons

I find that if you go to Sam's Club on Tuesday afternoons or Wednesday morning that they have a lot of meat marked down.

I usually go thru the sale ads, and use coupons on top of the sale so basically I can get it for less than, or free

We always shop sales and use coupons. We don't buy many generics because usually we can get the brand name cheaper. We do most of our shopping at the commissary on base, but we will go to Walmart or either of the grocery stores in Minot to buy what is on sale. We don't have any national chains of grocery stores (unless you count Walmart) so I have to find the best deals myself usually.
