Guess I'll find out when I take my kid to their speech therapy appointment.
But that is what my husband asked me....are there elections this year?
I flat out looked at him and said what difference would it make, I don't agree with the left, and the right is too far of the left to make a difference...my vote no longer matters, and it shows with the last election....
It shows with the fact that my congress people don't listen to what I have to say anymore.
It shows with the direction of this country........
Even if there were elections, why vote.
My vote and more words fall on deaf ears anyway............would it really matter?
I'm still conservative, but very likely a non voting conservative.

Here, there are quite a few things that are important. I met one of our local commissioner candidates who wants to work with the state in trying to opt out of Obamacare. That's important to me.
And here there are quite a few things that require attention - allowing casinos to be in Ohio for one thing. It has been defeated many times before, but now that they're promising 34,000 jobs, it will probably pass. I hope not. But I won't feel right unless I make sure I vote.
Hubby said something about voting, but I didn't reply.
