Apparently Kristen Stewart doesn't like being a celebrity and all the "benefits" that come with it. In a recent interview, she said "I don't want to be a movie star like Angelina Jolie," and also added, "Nothing about being a celebrity is desirable," the 19 year-old insists. "I'm an actor. It's bizarre to me that everybody's so obsessive."
Hmmm... one might make the argument that if everybody wasn't so "obsessed" wth her then she might not be cast as Bella in the final three films of the Twilight saga. You gotta give the public what they want and if they didn't want Kristen, well, then she'd have nothing to complain about I guess.
Stewart goes on to give an analogy to explain how fame truly is for celebs by using Edward Cullen as the example. "Edward is actually a really good parallel to fame," she muses. "As a vampire, he has a sad, desolate life -- fame is the same."
I can understand not wanting to be overwhelmed by paparazzi and never having a private moment to yourself. But I happen to believe you sign up for it when you become a Hollywood actress. If you don't like the fame you receive from appearing on the big screen then stick to the big stage. Kristen dearie, there are other places you can "act" if you want to avoid all the celeb craziness. Otherwise, I suggest you simply shut it and enjoy!
Either way, I'm worried that my opinion of Kristen Stewart the actress will affect how I see Bella Swan the character. My negative opinion has formed from the persona she's developed in public. Simply put: I don't like her.
Do you have a negative view of Kristen Stewart? Do you think it'll affect your perception of her as she plays Bella?
