I always have a Thanksgiving gathering so I keep my pumpkins and scarecrows up until the end of November. Christmas seems to come "earlier" every year!

Tradition in our house calls for decorating on Thanksgiving day... unless we are visiting then as soon as we get home.

Get it done while you can, I guess. I barely have room for a tree. It probably won't get put up until a week before Christmas and down after new years day. I have always wanted to decorate my everygreens in the back yard. I will need a very long extention cord. lol

we won't decorate until the day after Thanksgiving, but I'm counting the days so that I can start wrapping gifts and see what I have for who and who and what I need to still try and get.

I have not - I wait until after Thanksgiving. It does seem to start earlier - I think it's the way the retailers try to ensure they still make a profit!!!

Oh yeah, I do have some Christmas stuff up! I put them up really early this year, as we're going on a cruise for Christmas and won't have time later on! We won't be putting up a big tree this year, however, since we won't be home!

I'm not but I would love to! I visited my Grandma a couple weeks ago and she loves QVC, I sat and watched it with her and they were selling Christmas stuff all day. It gave me great decorating ideas and really got me in the mood for Christmas!

No, I don't like to do Christmas before Thanksgiving!!
When the kids were little I always waited until after my
daughter's birthday..the 17th. I thought she should have
her birthday before Christmas. Also I thought 1 week was
a long time for the kids to wait for Christmas.
Then we always left everything up until New Years Day.
I will probably decorate earlier this year, maybe the 16th. LOL

No, I usually decorate about two weeks before Christmas and I leave it up until the first week of January.

I was getting dressed this morning thinking about putting up a tree soon, we have a fake one, I think I may wait until the end of November.

I do not decorate for Christmas myself, but I enjoy seeing what others do. I plan on getting out and taking pictures of as many Christmas scenes and decorations as I can since I am so into taking pictures at the moment to share on Gather and elsewhere. I didn't think my little camera could take pictures in the dark, but I discovered last night it could, so I am happy about that, because I thought I would not be able to get the night effect in with the lights and stuff with this camera and I really do not want to purchase or do not have the extra funds to purchase a new camera right now. I would like one with a no flash because I think I can take pictures inside the historical sites with a no flash camera, so I still might get one of those, they are very expensive though close to $400 and over. My cats need the no flash too. Fairy can't stand the flash. Little Butter Cakes seems to be doing okay though, she keeps her eyes wide open for the camera. I just hate to spend that much on a camera. $200 was a lot for me to spend, but then I have spent much more than that on dogs.

Thanksgiving weekend is our traditional kick off for decorating. Yes, we go all out as our neighborhood is on the Parade of Lights tour to our City.

I haven't decorated for the past two years, but I'm going to this year. My BIL has his already-put-together tree in storage in my basement, so that should make it easier. I'm on the third day of a bad case of bronchitis, so I'm hoping I'll feel like decorating by thanksgiving.

Since I live alone I never decorate. But I love Christmas.

We are barely over the Haloween season. I think it is absolutely assinine to hurry up the season. Wait until after Thanksgiving!!!
