Last week, our roof leaked. On the rainiest of all days, our hot water heater decided to leak, too. The result was flooding on our second floor and in our basement. Okay, maybe "flooding" is too strong a word, since we caught both leaks in time, but it was a mess. "Hot water" becomes a preoccupation without a hot water heater. Because of all this, I've become preoccupied with a certain word within the last six days, and I'm going to lay the burden down onto your feet. (Be happy that I'm not laying the reality down at your feet. lol)
For November, Genre Creative Challenge – Photo Challenge, the theme is "water." It doesn't have to be leaky water, thankfully, but water comes in many forms and many ways. Despite leaks, it is also an essential in life. Lakes, ponds, puddles, faucets, bird bathes, snow, steam, or rain, it's all water. Up to you to figure out what to do with the word, but give us your favorite take on the subject, or just a photo you've taken that you like.
As always, no more than three photos can be entered, and please, in your titles, include the letters "GCC," if you want to enter the challenge, or "NGCC," if you just want to add your photo, but don't want to join the contest. Two last requests, although both are optional – be thankful for your hot water heater and have fun. lol

Great write... congrats on the win too!!
Good one, Lynn.
We have hot water again! Yes, hubby did it with no problems! (Setting off the smoke alarm does not count as a problem, since it wasn't a real fire. lol) And, once the delivery guys discovered the man installing the new one, couldn't remove the old one, THEN they were kind enough to remove it for us. Whew! Feared we'd end up selling the house with a hot water heater next to the hot water heater. lol

Sorry about your leaks - personally, I think the worst part is spending money on such a boring thing. Not like we can get up to the roof to admire the new one. We just spent money to see nothing. Of course, nothing beats raining inside. lol
Hope the mess is going away !
I'm hoping to find photos of water too - frankly don't want to search out more water. lol
Sorry about the leaks..understand ....as I have one in the bathroom that is seeping into the wall..needs some major work...lynn
