New Gather

I just looked at new gather few mins. Right off I see that on home page is banner that say 'try the new gather page" it is really in a bad place. over points, and share.... I did try new gather page.. don't think I like it. I'd much rather use this page.. But I sure don't need to see that 'try new gather page' banner over everything...

what do you think of what you have seen so far of the new Gather update?

still early for me. I'll have to look it over better some other time..

I like the old look better, too. I don't see the explore tab anymore, do you?

I posted a couple of posts on how to get to the Explore page, it is the only way I know how to get there. Gather has stuffed up big time as no one is looking at posts, I see the most views on a post is 23, and most are 1, once you have seen a post you have to back page to go to posts as you can't get there by going forward.
Looks like they wanted to kill the points off, as no one will get any points today as no one will see any posts, so it will be a waste of time writing a post.

Still not sure I like it but ya gotta give kudos for the work and planning that went into this upgrade. IF everything works that is. Still . . . for now I'm sticking with the old page while I noodle with the new.

Btw ... at least it was not just foisted on us; we can still keep the old page mm? There's a plus. For now anyway.

Never mind about the 'at least it was not just foisted' ... unless I'm being too impatient, can't find my comments or posts etc menu anymore; the Gather 'try it' banner is there instead. +sigh+ Okay it's too early to actually make a decision on this.

But so far, even though new gather has it's upsides ... I don't much like it.

I don't like it either. I realize people would say we just have to get used to it, but I've never NOT liked the previous gather upgrades. I hate this one.

I should have stuck with the old page.
Now I can't find new posts, or much of anything else except the 5th grade section
Gigi is now friends with Tiffy, and the like.
