I was missing you all. I got 12 art and poetry pages sent off for the 2010 calendar and felt very good about that. They will come back with some re-write possibly. Now I have to start on the digital art calendar and then the kids calendars. I just needed some Gathering after the hard work.

This is wonderfully told and so very true, especially for someone like you that inspires daily. I was about to comment last night (when Gather said, that they were doing an upgrade!, how rude!), so I had to wait until today.

When you list the things you're grateful for, don't forget all of those, here and in your real life... that are grateful for you!

I like how your theme unfolds. You give this a nice flow within the rhyme. Personally, I would get rid of the two 'a' in your verse because this simple word breaks the flow when read a loud. I would also change your final two words with 'from love' to keep balance in your rhyme scheme.

Thank you, Bill! I removed the two 'a's' in the poem, but I'm not comfortable changing the last line yet. I'll play with the idea a bit first. I didn't even realize that this poem rhymed. I intended just to use alliteration.
