The Unborn (2009 Film) - Review

A young woman is haunted by visions of strange dogs and small demonic little boys. As Casey tries to unravel the nightmare and other strange events in her life, she discoveres things about her past, her mother and family history she was never aware of before.

I'm sure many could find a spoiler for this movie if you are so inclined...I won't ruin it for those who might want to watch it.  After I watched it, I found that it was given horrible critical reviews.  I don't understand why, unless the lack of blood and guts was the problem.  Personally I love horror movies that are more psycological than bloody.  Sure people die, but one doesn't need chainsaws and axes to make a great horror film.  When  movie makes me jump, start and stifle a scream it's doing what it was created to do.

I liked it.
