Just last week, wasn't it? That the news was full of the fact that the Ontario government was figuring on a $25 Billion deficit for this year? And had no plan whatsoever for managing that.
Oh yeah - and shortly before that we were hearing all about the Billions of dollars that had been spent on consultants who did little/nothing to earn their keep. Solution - hire more consultants to tell us how to cut the costs of hiring consultants.
And this week's big announcement? The Ontario government has decided that our kids are not receiving enough education about managing money. So they're going to add financial literacy to the curriculum for grades 4 and up.
Sorry, Dalton...but that just strikes me as incredibly ~funny~. This might be a good time to hire yet another outside consultant...because it doesn't seem like they're likely to find anyone qualified in house. Just sayin'!
