Oct. 17, 1986 - Oct. 25, 2009
Nicholas (Nick) A. Walker of Post Falls, Idaho, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, by way of an automobile accident on Highway 95 south of Lewiston, Idaho.
Nick is survived by his parents, Ron and Laura Walker; his sister, Lacey Walker-Cysewski, brother-in-law Chad Cysewski; grandmothers, Nancy Campbell-Sanders and Phyllis Walker. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Jack Campbell and Lyle Walker and uncle Joshua Campbell.
Filled with a contagious zest for life, Nick was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, snowboarding, motorcycles, snowmobiles and his dogs. He enjoyed spending time with family and lifelong friends. His love for God, and his church was evident in his life.
He was a graduate of the Post Falls High School and attended North Idaho College. At the age of 23, Nick had a bright career as an electrician, working in his fourth year as an apprentice for Merit Electrical Company and preparing for his journeyman's license.
A mischievous sense of humor and a prankster describes Nick the best. He was always playing jokes on his friends and was the target of other pranks as well. His big blue eyes, infectious smile and warm heartedness will always be imprinted in our hearts. People who really knew him will remember him for his love for God, his family, the outdoors and his work ethic.
The family is very grateful to the outpouring of love and generosity from friends and the community. A celebration of Nick's life was held yesterday afternoon. It was a very sad and emotional day for our family (and friends).
Nick, until we meet again you will be greatly missed!
