Well, it’s now rapidly moving toward the end of the second day of NaNoWriMo. So far, I have logged 2,335 words; however, I have plans to sit down and do a bit more typing this evening.
Hopefully, before this day is over, I will have logged another couple of thousand words. Even if I don’t manage to, I still won’t be in too bad. The month is still young, and the story is still coming together.
I had been sketching the story out in my mind for about a month before the start date. Then, the day before NaNoWriMo started, I sat down and made a few very rough notes to myself as to what was happening—at least, at the beginning of the story.
There are still things unfolding, and the characters are still growing. They are finding their voices, and, if I listen to them speak, I will find my way through to the end of this story.
How is NaNoWriMo going for you? Are you participating this year?

I've been getting a lot of help with it. I have a calico lap warmer who supervises just about every keystroke. :-)
