Yes, I did it.

Yes, I did. I talked myself into it and started NaNoWriMo! It's been 2 years since I did it. I hope I can be diligent again. It was a wild weekend. My husband decided to take me to a movie and dinner. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I'll take an afternoon with my husband ANY day of the week. I secretly decided I would work on nano and lo and behold off we go to the movies. It was wonderful. We saw Amelia. A beautifully done movie. Great scenery and lovely music, so it was very inspiring. I didn't start my writing until about 7 last nite and I got over 1,700 words in while watching the World Series. I feel pretty good about that. The trick will be if I can keep it up. The full time job, the raising a teenage grandson and all the other things life throws at me will keep my on my toes. So right now the sun is shining, my mood is good and the ideas are coming in. If anyone else is taking the challenge, I'd love to hear from you. It's great fun!
