I didn't pick up many things yesterday.....I didn't have much to shop with, buy I did have $4 in RR's (register rewards) that were to expire yesterday and needed to be used.
I messed up as usual, leaving a coupon at home, and not realizing it until I was out of the store and on the way home.
One item I was looking for on the RR's, I was told they stopped selling, but might be getting back in...I asked why was it in the ad for RR's then?
I bought:
2-Campbell's tomato soup on sale .50 each (this is where I messed up forgetting the $1/2 coupon I had printed out....it's being said all over the internet to use it to get it free, but a few are commenting that it's on cooking soups and won't work...guess I don't know if it does or not!)
3-Hunt's tomato sauce on sale with Walgreen's coupon 3 for $1, I used $1/3 coupon
Dial Yogurt Liquid soap on sale for $1.99 with $1 back in RR's. (It was said there was a .35 coupon out but I sure couldn't find it...I used one of my $1 RR's on it)
Blistex Lip Massage $2.49 on sale with $1.50 back in RR's. (I had no coupon for this but used a $2 RR)
Dawn dish soap on sale for .99 with Walgreen's coupon and I used a .25 coupon.
Then I bought a marked down Halloween candy for .25....this was intended to be my filler for the other $1 RR that I had.
My total after coupons was $3.01 and then I have $2.50 to use on my next shopping trip.
I am considering running back up there and trying for the soup....as well as I found a buy 1 get 1 free Tag spray coupon. They are on sale 2 for $7 and you get $2 back in RR's. That would make it just $3.50 for the 2, and these would be great to add to my gift tote for some of the males on my Christmas list.
Also Glade Sense and Spray is on sale for $4.99 and there is a $4 coupon out.
and...I seen that Lypsyl is $2.99 I have a $1 coupon and a $2 rebate to send off for buying it...it's our favorite.
The problem about going back is that I am virtually broke.....82 cents in my wallet, $3.13 in my checking account, and $1.60 in my paypal.....hhhmmmm
Yesterday there was this gal I watched shop at Walgreen's...she had a printed list...from couponmom.com or that one where you pay to find out the good deals, I'm not sure. She was frantically looking at the list and putting items in to her cart and then pulling out a coupon to match. In the end she had 3 of the Walgreens shopping bags full but her total was $88.75 after coupons. It would be nice to have that to spend. I wish I had paid more attention to what her total was before coupons.

Glad you did good though. Woo Hoo for you
Marsha I have four Walgreens close to me - three are great, one is crappy - their staff is bad & the store is not busy. The other three are so busy.
I got 2 advil liquid caps 100 count 4.99 on sale - substituted for the Advil they were out of - instead of rain check & suggested by cashier, who also took my $3.00 coupon -- which was for therma care & advil -- she said it was okay I got 2 advils. so it cost me 6.98 for 2 100 count bottles of advil liiquid caps.
I fill my prescriptions there also.
