freezing meat?

is the freezer full? if there's a lot of space in the freezer, things tend to get burned easier. i usually put things in small bags or wrap with saran wrap then put it in the ziploc bag. it helps especially if the freezer isn't as full as i'd like it to be. :)

the freezer is about 3/4 full ~ I like idea of saran wrap

I usually wrap in something first, like saran wrap or tin foil, and then put it in freezer bag.

Wraping meat in saran wrap is better than putting meat in a zip lock bag. How long did you have the meat in the freezer? I shop at Sams' as well to get the larger portion size. I have not had any problems freezing my meat.

I wrap mine first too - and I write the date in marker on the outside of the bag too adn dont keep stuff too long.

I know you dont want a food saver but they really help you save money. I buy meat when its on sale and if its a great price i buy in bulk. My food saver keeps it so fresh for such a long time it easily keeps it fresh up to a year. You can find food savers and bags on ebay for decent prices.
