For the Ornament review, I'd give that gift to my mother in law. She really likes gifts that are unique and it would be a gift that she doesn't already have. It would answer the age old question of what do you give a person that has everything?
For the DVD Greetings, I'd give that gift to my wife's grandparents. They live miles away and I already have software to create the DVD, just need a DVD writer.
Thanks for the opportunity to review any of these. I've listed my choices in the logical order I'd like to be considered.
However, I also would like to do the DVD greeting for a relative who is fighting in Afghanastan. He is my cousin, but I would like to make him a DVD of his family to ship to him for Christmas, since they have computer access. I think that would mean so much to him and his family.
I know we can only review one, so I would rather do the DVD greeting. Thank you for this opportunity whether I am/am not selected.
I was really close to my grandma who passed away when i was 9. I sometimes think i wish i could hear her voice again. I can remember my grandpa's voice, i am not sure why except i wa a bit older when he went home, but ...
Corny i KNow, but that's why i think this would be a SUPER special gift to my children and future grandchildren!
My oldest son (20) (Yeah i know 6-7-8 and 20LOL) just got engaged
and i would love to give them something special to start a collection for
the start of their life together!
Thank you for considering both of my requests!
I just saw a commercial for it and I think its a great gift for the holidays!! It would be a great gift to leave for my kids! I wont be here forever and it would be a great way for them to hear my voice and know that i love them now and for ever;).
Can you please describe the commercial to me? I have been looking for it.
Thank you
I would love to review the Recordable Storybook through a friend. He is a former music teacher and radio announcer, he just had a stroke and is slowly recovering. He was featured with the dramatic reading of Dylan Thomas' A Child's Christmas In Wales in last year's Christmas Festival. I'd love to give the unit to him and have him record a story for his grandkids. I'd write his review of the product afterwards. How about it?
The recordable story book would also be wonderful to review. I would send it to my parents and have my mom and my little sister to read it, and then send it back here to Elliott. He would love it. He loves it when we read to him, and when my little sister visited over the summer, she read him at least a dozen books a day, and he just couldn't get enough. He would love to have a book that he could hear her and my mom reading to him over and over again.
Ornaments are a wonderful gift that people can keep forever. Its a way to remember the years before and treasure the memories of the year.
i would love to try the storybook for my grandchildren. i think a recordable storybook is a wonderful gift idea for loved ones who don't live close. reading a story to the grandkids everyday......how cool would that be?? :)
We also live so far away from our Grandchildren that we do not get to see them very much. We try to call them on a regular basis so they will remember what we sound like and learn of their lives. This would be a great way to keep our voices in their minds for years for come.
I shop at Halmark for gifts each year that I can personalize so this would be great. I would love to write a review on this product.
The storybook would be for my kids. I would have their dad record it, because he is never home at bedtime, either because of work or school and they always miss his goodnight kisses. It would be a fun and entertaining product to try out, that would hopefully be passed on for a long time and maybe even shared with our future grandkids (if they don't wear it out!)!
I would give the ornament to one of our family members. Just about everyone in our family likes to collect their ornaments over time, rather than buying a bunch at once. And most of us NEVER buy our own ornaments! We love to give them as gifts because we know that they can be enjoyed year after year. We also trade some of our ornaments with family, when someone is in need of some new or different ones. Many of our ornaments have special meaning and I love to have a good story to tell or hear with every ornament we give or receive.
SUPER GIVEAWAY!!!!!
Twas the Night Before Christmas is her FAV. Christmas book!!!
Thank you!
The storybook is a great idea. I know the perfect little girl that would really enjoy it. With both of her parents out of a job, any extra gifts at Christmas time would really mean something to them.
For Who: My first Grandbaby Due next year. Though I would probably buy a second for my Neices and Nephews.
Why?: Because when I was little, my OWN Grandparents ordered a Christmas story that INCLUDED my name in it. I was so tickled, and STILL have that story today.
It would become a tradition, we could all carry forward.
It won't be long before she'll outgrow me reading for her. Until then, she would be able to hear me reading to her as many times as she wanted, without me having to be there. A keepsake like this would be something she could treasure forever.
Since I use memories as my way of holding onto the things I love, the things that made me who I am, and the things I never want to lose; I would dearly love to preserve this years special moments forever on a DVD Greeting and I would be more then happy to write a review using photos, videos, and my personal words to express my thanks;and I would give this greeting to my dear grandaughter Drea because this would easily preserve my stories, photos and thoughts for her forever to cherish.
We live far away from our family and I think they would enjoy this as a gift.
I would personalize the ornament either for my mom, or my mother-in-law.
I have been a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament & Series Collector for many years.
This is the only year I have not joined the Hallmark Ornament Keepsake Collectors Club (money issues). I had been a member since 1987.
I not only use my Hallmark Ornaments on my tree, but I use them on garlands, wreaths, and in groups surrounded by candles. You can say my house is a Hallmark Ornament house.
I purchase Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments as gifts for family and friends, and as treats for myself.
This would be a perfect gift for her until I see her.
I would love to review the dvd greetings. My grandmother lives in Europe, and she is very sad that I moved so far away with my family. We have not seen her in two years, and it will be a while before we get to see her again.
I try to send her photos, letters and photo books as often as I can, so that she can still see what is going on with her great grand children, and I know that she would love to receive a dvd greeting with photos.
I would be honored to review one of the Hallmark Holiday Products. Here are the two I'm interested in and why:
DVD Greetings: My beloved uncle and aunt live in Arizona and can't travel as often as they would like because of health problems. He moved there years ago because my grandfather was there. My grandfather passed away and his wife's family is all in Pennsylvania. Our family is all over New York. I would love to send him DVD Greetings so he feels like he is right here with us for the holidays. He always made every holiday special, even making a big turkey for my birthday one year on December 28 (proving to me at a young age men can cook and create great holiday experiences). I would like to return a little of that joy to him and his wife this season.
Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments. We live near a few tree farms and pick a lovely live Christmas tree every holiday season. Part of our tradition is to hang the current years's Hallmark Keepsake Ornament first. Since we moved here 8 years ago, we've had this tradition. My desire to review a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is purely selfish as our family looks forward to them every year.
