Ah! Beauty sharing beauty. Yes they are beautiful. I took a picture of the tall Maple in our yard and your post just reminded me of it. I'll have to try to download it and share. Yes it looked like it was setting the yard on fire.

It was a special day two years ago.

I drove around then rushed home and demanded to borrow my daughter's camera.

It was about 4 p.m.

The late afternoon light, which I love, and the particular time in the fall foliage season, made for a lucky happenstance of color.

I have to spend most of my time on 3 Romance manuscripts, the first of which must be done by June and submitted to contests and agents before then, and the second and third must be underway next summer and fall. That is a huge amount of work, but I am up to it.

Up again all night. Again.

This is what I miss by living in South Florida. Unfotunately Inever get my timing down when I go north. It is either summer or the beginning of winter. I never catch the fall.

I'm really loving the autumn leaves this year. I used to not care too much until I moved into an apartment that is surrounded by trees. It truly can be a breathtaking sight to behold.

Loved the photo essay...

neat pictures thanks for sharing. We were up north of us for the weekend for one of Janet's doggie things. Rained on the way there, off and on Saturday. Beautiful on Sunday. We decided to drive to Cadillac Mi. to see if there was still any colors, there wasn't any. I was a beautiful drive home from there though.

some Octobers are better than others. Utah and Massachusetts are great and better than Montreal. Montreal's Fall comes earlier, anyway. Vermont might be the best in the country, with pretty much only maples...

I would have a difficult time living without 4 seasons. Montreal had 3, before winter, winter, after winter, and even though Montreal had fall, it was not so nice. This year for some reason was not that great. That was an exceptional day.
