While we were at Publix, we were going to pick up some meat loaf meats, but we saw they had premixed meat loaf for a cheaper price per pound so we went with that. How well it will turn out remains to be seen, but we will be fixing the meat loaf, so we shall see how it will turn out. I like adding stuff to the stuff that I cook, but my wife is a purist who doesn't like adding stuff. I think I saw some flakes and stuff on the top of the meat loaf, maybe a bit of onion, so I'm hopeful that it'll turn out to be a very good preparation. All in all, I think we make a very good pair.
I'm fascinated by how goods seem to move in an orderly fashion at a local grocery store. How Farmers get paid for produce and Chickens and Hogs and Cattle. How stuff gets prepared whether slaughtered, or ground at a mill, and passed through other hands to the grocers who then sell to individuals and take the small profits.
In fact, there's a game on Facebook called FarmVille where you are a farmer, and you select what crops you choose to plant in your fields, how much of your available land you wish to use for the crops, and how much you want to devote to other products. The different crops have different times until they reach maturity (suitable for sale). It is pretty cool, as a way to spend some time.
