Originally we had planned to go to the National Peanut Festival, however Allen surprised me with tickets to the FSU Homecoming game. I enjoy going to the festival to see the arts and crafts, but I was all for going to the game instead! Also, we can go to the Peanut Festival anytime it is here since we live nearby.
I am a huge FSU fan and have been for years. Although the team and university has had its ups and downs, I believe that when you really support someone or something then you need to do it in thick and thin...good and bad times.

Allen and I haven't been to an FSU game in years so a big THANK YOU to JERRY for thinking of us when he was unable to use his tickets!

There is a beautiful statue of a Seminole family in front of the stadium. Florida State strives to bring honor to the Seminole people and the Seminole tribe backs the university. It was spectacular to see two (real) Seminole Princesses crown the homecoming Chief and Princess.

The Sod Cemetery is another interesting piece of the FSU tradition.

I took tons of pics and was glad to be able to get some of Bobby Bowden, as this very well may be his last year at Florida State. He is a wonderful man and has brought so much to the University. He will be 80 years old this month on the 8th...Happy Birthday, Bobby!

Chief Osceola and Renegade always amaze me. From the lighted spear to begin the game

to the pride when touchdowns are made, they are a great pair.

The horse and man are beautiful. They are indeed the "12th player of the team". If you do not know the tradition of how this came to be, please go to the link above to read about it.

The Marching Chiefs are spectacular and deemed the "band that never lost a halftime". Their performance during yesterday's game was no exception. They also did a "post game" performance that included "Thriller". Their show reminded me of my need to purchase a video camera. There is a youtube video available when they did it during a previous game.

I won't bore the ones of you who do not care about football. I'll just share some pics of the game.

It rained off and on throughout the game, but it was well worth it. And sometimes it's fun to play in the rain.

Needless to say, after the excitement of the game and then Trick or Treating last night we have done little more than rest today. I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend.
(I have a ton of additional pics and if you'd prefer seeing the video I made, you can check them out on youtube by clicking here)

an all women's college~ eh? =) learn something new every day~ thank you!~
someone ought to explain to you that slideshows are not videos... you seem to have had some difficulty with what is advertised as opposed to what is produced. As usual.
At least in THIS case something WAS produced.
I hear that soon Gather is going to cave to people like you and allow members to block each other.
How wonderful for you. At least I'll be able to return the favor for a change. No more one way 'pings' on my profile...
I haven't posted any real comment to you in about a year, thought I'd drop by and invest the .0003 cents today. Before the hammer falls.
It is almost the holidays, remember??? yours full of yet another new guy, mine full of a long solitary drive to scatter ashes, then back home to an empty house.
Your saccharine PUBLIC, there certainly were NEVER any personal, condolences posted by someone you'd repeatedly lied to, to get her to, ringing hollowly in my day. Now THAT was "offensive"
Somebody showed me your ongoing theme of "some people just aren't worth it" awhile back.
Great rationale for allowing one to make empty commitments, *use others to come out of a low spot in your life*, (which even you can't deny), and once back to such lofty heights "move on" instantly to yet another husband.
You must enjoy judging those you have failed on every level.
As someone once said "karma kicks ass" and you've built quite a store.

If you do not like my videos, slideshows, posts, or what I post on here or other sites; why do you bother to even look? If you don't like them, don't look. If you want to see what I'm up to (constantly) then continue to stalk me here and other places.
You say you have not placed any real comments on my things in about a year, that like many other things you say is a lie. However, I know the real you and am not surprised by this lie or the comments you make. Your behavior will never change because you do not know what it means to "get a life". You have difficulty understanding that some of us, or at least me, does not need or want you...communication with you...or anything else to do with you. I thought the harassment charges would have deterred you. Obviously you have forgotten that communication through this site is also considered harassing communications. You have been told to cease communicating with me in any form or fashion by recorded phone call...now we just have a public record of it that will be printed out for future use.
You have a solitary life because you push everyone away. Maybe the "get a life" should include "holding friends close". And no, you were not worth the problems you caused or the conditions you put forth. Yes, I did say Karma kicks ass....and meant it.
Have a good day. Thanks for the page view.
Thanks for sharing :)
