Last night was day two of our traditional Hallowe'en alcoholfest. LOL On the 30th, as you read on here, we went next door to the A.N.A.F and partied with the rest of the Veterans and their partners, waking up on the 31st debating on whether or not to do it again. LOL
We went to Herb's place last night, and had a great time. Walker's KGB uniform was a big hit. The kids loved
it, and so did the parents. :)
After the kids had enough candy for the night, the three of us got into a bottle of this stuff!!! Has anyone out there ever tried Slivovitz? It's a wonderful Croatian/Serbian Plum Brandy that could give Tequilla and Ouzo a run for their money in the alcohol department, at 80 proof. Woohoo!!!
Walker wants to know when we're moving to Croatia. Hey, that sounds like fun. Nice strong liquor, and nice thick accents.
A funny thing. Today we were listening to the Croatian program, and for whatever reason, when it ended, the Irish program that would normally come next, between the Croatian and Serbians was about 20 minutes late in starting, and so we got an extra 20 minutes of Croatian music. So am I to assume that for every glass of Slivovitz I drink on a Saturday night, the Croatian program will add an extra five minutes on a Sunday? :)

The bottle you pictured is the same shape and size as the bottle we get Sambuca in.
I've tried Ouzo and let's just say that it isn't my favorite Spiritus Fermenti.
I used to drink, now it is no more than enough for a nightcap. I do reminisce.
