Well I did. Last week I tried making some pancakes for my kids like I usually do from the scratch and noticed I had no more sugar. I used applesauce the measurement of the sugar I would have used and it turned out so well.
I have always loved to use healthy ingredients I find in my fridge.
My kids loved it so much. I wont use sugar for my pancakes any more.
I have included the recipe, please try it and let me know how you feel.
1c flour
1 tbs baking powder
½ tsp baking soda ( optional )
2 tbs vegetable oil
3 tbs applesauce
1c milk ( you can use more if you feel the mixture is not light enough )
1egg
½ tsp salt
I hope you enjoy it.

Today I made it with banana's. It was great. I used ripe ones that I save in the freezer. I added no sugar maple syrup and pumpkin spice and vanilla to the flour, egg, milk, and baking powder. And instead of oil, I used melted butter substitute. Give it a try.
I will try the applesauce
Thanks!
