Hello
Friends,
Just a quick note. Today, Streaker joined me at church (Calvary Baptist in Le Roy, NY) to give her thanks and testimony. The first time I attended Calvary Baptist, I spoke up, asked for continued prayer and explain the miracle of how my dog fell 110' (11 stories) off a river gorge into the Genesee River, and survived. All of Gather was praying for her too.
The accident was six weeks ago yesterday. Five weeks ago the orthopedic surgeon/vet suggested that she may be walking on her own by January with enough sufficient care, rest and attention. Two weeks ago, much to the vet's amazement, the vet removed her last brace and scheduled her for one more set of x-rays for Nov. 9th.
Today, she walked to church with me. She met each family of the church and with a little tail-wagging and a couple of well=placed barks, shared her testimony to the congregation about how the Lord sent angels to catch her fall and how the power of prayer and well-wishes from friends and strangers alike really do work. After the service, Streaker joined the church for pie, cheese, and crackers.
And now I am sharing her testimony with you.
God Bless,
- Robert B. (& Streaker)

She is more humane than many "humans" I see and know here in this city. I've felt this quality in her all along.
Streaker, you ain't no ornery canine, beautiful doggie!
Thanks so much for posting this fresh signpost on Streaker's road to recovery, Robert. Love her dearly! ((((((((((((((((((((Streaker)))))))))))))
Good job, Brother, wish I'd been there to see it and hear it.
Still, praying, because there is more to pray for, but sometimes, well, sometimes you got to take care of yourself, despite what's happening around you. Remember, "Ask, and you will receive," requires asking, and asking often. Remember, also, how your last "ask" happened. Sometimes we can't do it all by ourselves, but that's why there are 6.5 billion people on this earth - what we cannot do, we ask others to help us with. What you've done for others and what you were willing to do for Streaker, you need to do for you.
Honestly, I have had but one dog and one cat (not counting the ones I cared for before finding them homes) in my entire life, because I got attached to them as much as I'm attached to the rest of my family. I truly, truly understand how important Streaker is. You're MORE important.
Now, Young Man! Re-read that last paragraph but in your mother's voice. It's THAT important! (I'm giving you as much mother's guilt I can muster, never having been a mom myself. Am serious, but in a humorous way. ;) )
For anyone, who cares about Robert enough to be willing to help him and can, PM him to find out more. He needs more practice in thanking God for grace. (Grace - undeserved favor.)
Hey Robert, what kind of pie did you all have? very nice day and glad you are having such a great experience with your new church and friends. Glad Streaker is healing so well. I so appreciate this testimony you and Streaker have shared with us here.
Robert please take good care of YOU! and Streaker and to you both "Keep up the good work". Love and blessings to you, Streaker, your wonderful sister, and whole family.
