You too Debbie, It has been a long hot summer!!!!! How many times I tell my husband I want to sell my home and go back to NY!!!! I moved here thinking it was safer for the kids, but I think it is more dangerous with so many wooden areas and houses to be pulled into!!!!! I've had it with the heat too!!!!!

We actually had one week of Autumn. I was delighted. Ordinarily we have horrible summers up to 110% , then Winters freezing. Again no Spring.

I remember in 2000, I went to Ft. Meyer's for my grandfather's funeral in the month of November. Coming from Washington state, I was miserable in the heat! However, I did like that everyone's roses were still in large bloom and I could eat Avacodos and oranges fresh from the trees!
On Saturday, we had sleet! yuck!

Wish it was like that here in Ohio. It has been nice and to be honest I am so greatful for it. I know that soon the cold weather will be here and I hope by the time it is I will be prepared to take it on head first.
Hmm, maybe 50's today... but I remember living in FL (East Coast) and how hot it was all the time. We're back in CT now.
