As you know, I often go to see friends perform their timeless music. It is a carrying on for others music who can no longer perform it themselves, as well.
Last night, at the Coffee Gallery in Alta Dena, CA. Barry Maguire and John York returned from a European tour, to perform their Trippin the 60s show.
It was a night for singing along and travelling along as the music took you back to where you were when you first heard it, or another momentus occasion.
Barry was in a lot of pain from a tooth extraction but soldiered on!
As I have posted just the songs before I added some of the chatter between songs to explain how a lot of these songs came to be written and recorded.
As promised, to Richard Lynn Livesay, California Dreamin'!
Enjoy!

Are you familiar with Darryl Henriques, the Human Impersonater?
He is a fantastically funny fellow.
He comes up to Berkeley about every six months to present his comedy act @ the Freight and Salvage Coffee House.
