Halloween has brought an evil trick to Skidway Lake! The goblins have stolen our beautiful, colorful Autumn weather! In only one day of wicked wind and driving rain, our lovely leaves have been laid low on the ground. This means two things. One, time to break out the rakes, and two, Winter is coming. Brrrrr!

Our red oak, too, has been stripped of it leaves. What a fiendish deed!

The wicked winds blew down our pedal boat. It's a fairly heavy little boat, so that tells you how fierce the wind was.

Our windmill, built specifically for wind, is in tatters. That shouldn't happen, but those goblins are evil!

The blades came off and a few parts are still missing.

Much of the color that blazed along the east shore is gone now:

The west shore didn't fare much better:

Although I hate to see the end of our Autumn beauty and I dread the cold winter, "To everything, there is a season....." Time to start raking and dig our the snow shovels.
For now, let's just say
