My youngest son is 4. He's cute as a button, loves to run around and get into anything and also has PDD (pervasive development disorder) on the autism scale. Less then a month ago, he started school for the first time. Special Ed Pre K. He is doing GREAT at school! The teacher said he fits right in.
This past week two of the special ed classes went on field trips. The first was to a farm. I was unable to go because I had an obligation that I would go with my oldest son's class on a field trip and I haven't been able to do anything for my son's class yet so I wanted to keep my word though I was sad :(
My son got to go on a hayride, see the petting zoo and even pick out his own pumpkin. He brought the pumpkin home the day after he went. I took some pictures of him with it.

Then a couple of days after that, the special ed kids went trick or treating at the school district's main office, in costume. Man, my son brought home a bag that was entirely filled with goodies. I was shocked but it is a big office with many hallways and offices so I guess everyone took part in it.

After we picked up the kids, we went to the Child Guidence Clinic where my middle son has a case (for his ADHD) because the office transformed into a Haunted House. Each person ahd their office decorated as something Haunted. I went through with my youngest son first because they do it differently and don't pop out at you if you have a little kid. Then my girlfriend and my other two sons and her daughter went through. I was pretty bummed that I didn't get to see my other kids reaction but there was no way around it. The pictures are dark but a couple from that experience are below.

Later that night my oldest sons and I went to Safe Halloween at the Museum but that's another post altogether!
