The St. Augustine Lighthouse is one of the many sights to see in St. Augustine. It is painted a dramatic black and white and is still in use today. There is a restored two-story brick house that now contains exhibits, a period room and a video theater. You can also climb the 219 steps to to top of the lighthouse tower and enjoy the panoramic view of St. Augistine.

Beaautiful!! they would have to pick me up in an ambulance if I would climb those stairs... Lol.

It was quite hard to do, but it is worth it to see the view.

Wow.....what beautiful photos! I absolutely hate stairs and avoid them at all costs......LOL! We will be going to Miami (going on a cruise) in December........wish we could stop at St. Augustine, as we've never been there!!!!!!!!
