I went to a fun Halloween party downtown -- a 'Saints and Sinner's ball.

Tons of people. Cheese, cash bar. Music, dancing, raffle.

A few of the many. There were Vamps and Vampires, plenty of cops, prisoners, Marie Antoinette, French maids, Inspector Gadget, Wolfman, Al Capones and Raiders of the Lost Ark, Bees, Fairies, Sorcerers and Witches with Brooms (some were turbo, some were CVS), a Cheerleader and a Cheerboy (a man dressed as a cheerleader). Plenty of Correctional Institute, Kittens, Bunnies, Elfs, Pirates, Pirate Wenches and a few Mad Hatters and a Mad Hattress.

I was never a cheerleader, never made the team, but I was practicing last night. Did take tons of ballet, though. I didn't have much time to strike 3 poses, so this just happened that way.

it was pretty fun. not bad for 25 bucks. I had bought a blonde one the day before but was too long and looked ridiculous. The cats took one look at me with the blonde thing on my head and ran for cover.

I guess that got their 'agression warning' instinct up - 'she's wearing a weird thing on her head to make her look bigger RUN!!'

went with green eye shadow to go with the hair = usually i wear green eye shadow a bit in spring and summer when i wear green. now in the winter, I am in red, white, black and white - various combos - so i wear a lavender shadow or maybe neutral if I am in just black and white. peach a lot, too.

Red is impossible unless done professionally; it is by far the most difficult color and also does not color well over grey. For grey, the best bet is blonde.

Also, I have natural red lights in my hair, which makes all coloring much more difficult. Once I went to a salon and came out looking like Ronald McDonald.
