There is a squirrel around here that collects stuff and then runs up my back screen door and hides stuff on the roof of my bay window. I hear him scurrying every day at 9:30 am.

I was finding bagels hidden in spaces in the awnings, one day I saw a squirrel retrieving the goodies.

One year when we were living in West Hartford, CT, the squirrels went berserk and ate holes in our plastic garden hose. Now what would make them do that? And Halloween was three months off.

Autumn is my favorite time of year and I added a little drama to this one:)

No doubt thirsty. Maybe licking the dew, they got carried away -- though it was not mountain dew....

I too love the colors of autumn; I also like winter, which is for me a more contemplative time, especially when there is a fresh snowfall on the ground.

I've been watcing a squirrel in the backyard, winterizing his/her nest. Of course we've have unusual heat...poor thing probably wishes he'd ventilated it better!

I love squirrels...well....cos they are squirrely lol. we have many feeders for them here and they will even get up close to us and take peanuts out of our hands. We just started getting grey and black ones around here which is rare but nice.

We have a lot of black squirrels now, it seems they have taken over. I read online that they used to be in the circus so I guess the circus came to town.
