Halloween Traditions?

Does anyone have any Halloween Traditions that they would like to share? Our apartment complex doesn't allow trick or treating and that had really got me upset...So I am going to my mom's house to help hand out candy...I made popcorn balls last night!!!! YUM!!! My fiance and I are going to watch halloween movies and just have fun...What are you doing? What do you normally do? What are some halloween staples around your house?

We spent many years in apartments or condos with no trick-or-treaters. When you have kids of your own you'll be trying to think of people to have at YOUR house to pass out candy while you go out with the little ones.

My advice is to enjoy your time now. You can choose to go to a party, stay home with all the lights off, maybe a candle or two - design your own Halloween traditions. Have fun now or you could find yourself going to extremes! We had a blast Halloween. We attended a few parties. It was great but the only tradition we have is checking the candy carefully for unwrappings first. Then eat so much of it til we get sick.
