What the Heck.

First off let me ask, how on earth did I miss this when I snapped the photos  and why didn't I notice until seven days later when taking a closer look ?  I wanted to see which shot would be the best one to post. I almost always snapped more than one shot of whatever I am taking a picture of. That way hopefully at least one shot will turn out well. This time all three turned out, but in the first two there is something sitting on the wire. Something rather large, I mean it ain't no sparrow.

I just wanted a good shot of this old loader left abandoned along the side of the road behind a  fence.

Do you see what I'm talking about on the wire there ?

Here I've circled it.

My guess is a big old owl, but It was a low light situation so I can't enlarge it and get a clear enough  look. Anyway by the time I took the third and last shot it was gone.

Is it on the wire, or is it a leaf between the wire and your camera, having floated down into that location as you "shot"?

well it was in the first two shots and I'm not too sure if it isn't in the last one sitting just above the pulleys wheel.

I really cannot tell what it is...does not that just frustrate the heck out of your day? I get lazy or forgetful and leave the camera at home on my Beagle walk and some scene or event will absolutely occur--moments after, I will want to pound sand that I do not have the camera.

I am sure that if you had noticed the bird on the wire you could have zoomed in to identify just who was resting there! Bummer!!

I don't know, but whew if that's an owl, it's HUGE! If you compare the size of the object to the loader itself, wow... I think I'd be scared to death to meet an owl that size. LOL

Probably a Barn own from the shape. Don't think it's an eagle.
