What are your kids being for Halloween??

I hope everyone is ready for Halloween hehe

What are your kids being?

We didn't buy any new costumes this year.  I hope to next year... so we are just using what we had on hand ect.  Which my kids didn't care.

My oldest son he is almost 8 is going to be Spiderman with muscles.  We got it from freecycle a few months back.  Gotta love free stuff huh?  It was mixed in with boy's clothes

My daughter she's almost 7 is going to be minnie again.  Its a costume someone made for me last year.  It's ears and a tutu.. with dots on the tutu.. its cute!

Josh he's almost 5 is going to be a skeleton.  His headstart was donating costumes and that is what they gave him.  He loves it! 

Jon he's almost 5.  He is going to be a Indian.  I haven't seen it on him yet.  but I think he is going to be adorable!!  Just wish I had some face paint.  He also got his from head start.  which is very nice...

But my sister is supposed to come by and pick up austin's old spiderman costume for my nephew.  My nephew was going to be a devil but its too snug on him.  So I told her maybe Jon can be that... I think Jon would be a cute devil.  even though Jon is almost 5.. My baby nephew is bigger than him and he's 2 1/2 lol.  but my son is the size of a 3 year old.

I will take pictures and of course share :)

My son Zachary will be Darth Vadar again this year. Jonas will be a pumpkin again. Amara was the only one I had to get a new costume for because she was too big for her kitty outfit that she wore last year. She asked to be a scarecrow and I couldn't find anything reasonable and cheap so I decided to make it for her. Next time I am either going to start making it MONTHS before Halloween or I will just buy one in the store. It cost just as much (or more) for the supplies (felt, glue gun, raffia and accessories) than a store-bought costume but thankfully we already had the jeans and button-down shirt. I think she will be cute though! And I love the pumpkin costume- this will be our 4th year using it!

I came to the same conclusion. Elliott was a firefighter so he wanted Emory to be his dalmation puppy. I coudn't find anything store bought in his size, nor could I find a cheap outfit for the base (in 0-3 months) so I figured it wasn't worth the time and effort anyway. I just used a halloween print sleeper we got as a gift. It's not like he cared!

My three year old son is going to be Spiderman and he's so excited.

My daughter is going as Tinkerbell. They both picked out their costumes from the Dollar Store.

We had trick or treat last night. We might do a church trunk or treat tonight, I'm not sure.

Elliott is almost 3, he was a firefighter. Emory is only 2 1/2 months, and he ended up wearing a halloween print sleeper that someone bought us as a gift with a cute little pumpkin hat. It was really cute!
my daughter is going to be a grocery store check out girl.....
and my son is going to be a leach....

hahaha......
I don't have any kids but my dogs are going as Chewbacca, Darth Vadar and an Ewok.

Madison, my 2 almost 2 year old is going to be a devil girl and Lauren who just turned 1 is going to be a fairy :)

My daughter is going as "Baseball Alice" from Twilight. One son is going as a devil. One son is going as a robot. Not sure what my oldest is going as yet.

I love how you made everything come together with getting creative and not worrying about spending money you can't afford to spend. You still managed to make Halloween special.

Elliott is going to be Thomas the train. He's super excited. We went trick or treating for a few minutes yesterday, and we're going again this afternoon and tomorrow. lol Since it only happens once a year, I decided to let him go several times this year.

Our Trick or Treat was lat night. My son was Aniken Skywalker. We had a good time.

Drake is going as a recycling bin. Lily is going as a mouse caught in a mouse trap. Both costumes are homemade. Drakes with spray paint and a box and some straps. Lily's is a pair of sweats some fabic glue and some felt and a box painted to look like a mouse trap with reynolds wrap and duct tape "trap" around her! LOL

Nothing. He is 14 and doesn't feel like dressing or trick-or-treating. He did dress up as Waluigi from Mario Brothers for the Karate School's annual Halloween party.
