Last night I baked my Amish bread, and it was a great success! I actually pretty much did it all by myself. My husband and Kyleigh helped by going to the grocery store and getting vanilla pudding powder for me, because I was missing that particular ingredient.
I was really surprised that it came out as nicely as it did. There were several things I didn't do right - I used 2% milk instead of whole milk, I didn't get the exact measurement of several ingredients, I didn't spread the cinnamon sugar evenly, and I used the bundt cake pan instead of a bread loaf pan for one of the two... But hey, I am happy with the result!

I didn't think of taking the pictures right away, so I had already cut the loaf and ate a piece.

We are keeping the loaf pan for ourselves, and I packaged the bundt cake pan for my husband to take to work and share with his coworkers. He said the entire thing was gone in 2 hours because people loved it! Wow, I am so flattered!
We already have 3 takers for the 4 resulting starter bags. I almost wanted to keep the last starter bag for myself because this bread turned out so well. But my husband talked me out of it because it is going to turn into another 4 bags in 9 days. They just multiply too quickly.
I hope I can locate another starter bag in another couple of months, because I definitely want to do it again (just not so soon).
