First Time in Four Years

It'll be the first time in four years AJ can go trick or treating without an umbrella. First time since we've lived here that Halloween will be rain free... and also the first time Yeti will be home early enough to take AJ out.

So how's the weather there?
Who's taking the kiddies trick or treating?

Its a little chilly but alot warmer than it has been the past few years. We are taking the girls trick or treating for the first time this year. :) Last year was their first Halloween, Madison was almost 11 months old and Lauren was 10 days old so they were both too young.

Well right now its very windy.....might have to put some weights on the kids so they don't blow away.LOL We did have rain hopefuly its passed, the hubby and I bothgo with our kids, little guy sometimes gets tired before big sis =D

It's finally sunny here. One halloween, we had a beautiful heavy snow. My dog, cat and I spent the weekend waiting for someone to dig us out. The weight of the snow on the trees made the branches bow so much that my house was a cave.
That was the warmest that house ever was.
This year, vandals hit the down town area, my daughters live there, well her car windshield was smashed last night so we will do a short walk with the kids, until it gets to cold for them to be out.

We're going to have excellent trick or treating weather. It's cool and sunny. My daughter is off trying to find a costume for tonight. We thought she might be able to wear last years costume, but, it doesn't fit anymore. LOL

Weathers cool and breezy, but that shouldnt slow any tricksters down.
The grandkids are supposed to come by and take grandpa with them.

The weather in DC is somewhere between misting rain and light rain. I had an invitation to go to a party, but I decided to pass on it. My children are all grown up, so trick-or-treating is a non-issue for them; I feel relief because of that.

We saw tons of little ones and teens out tonight...dangerous for kids who have to watch for cars but don't and dangerous for drivers who have to be more careful. The schools always put their 20 mph signs on to light for Halloween....

HA HA HA, I found the old scratch cat when I was packing away our punkin head pirate from the porch.
This was a plywood cutout of one of theose arched back cats with their tail straight up.
I made it years ago when the kids were little. The tail served as a ring toss game for many a school and church halloween carnival.
The kids will remember when I set it on the driveway for the paint to dry, our scrappy little dog raced across the yard with a yowl and attacked it! Ha Ha. I gues she thought it was target practice!

I took my 11 year old out. It's true that "The Freaks come out at nite" because we ran into a few. Collected a bunch of candy to smack on in church though plus I bought my own goodies too.
Glad you had a dry one.
