this is a small, hole in the wall Thai restaurant - the table tops are marble, the walls a soft gray... there's a niche with beautiful off white ceramics - the lighting fixture is made up of small bulbs and mirrored backs - it hangs in the middle to reflect light on everyone's table.
The service is great as is the food - $8 for lunch includes appetizer, main dish and dessert.
Location 101st and Broadway on the East side of the street.
They have a sign outside advertising Pre-Fixed lunch. I had to explain to the waiter that was NOT what they wanted to advertise, but Prix-Fixe lunch. I'd seen the sign before and just laughed. This time I stopped in and ate... and wrote him a note about the difference in the terms.
