Don't forget Obama's half aunt is sitll here illegally.
I never figured you for a xenophobe. You know this is another twisted video. There are millions of hard working Mexicans in this country, and you have to draw attention to this?
You're grasping at straws. You're insulting the ancestry of my daughter-in-law, who served in Iraq.
No, I don't hate anyone, k. But I do expect immigrants to go through the legal process to come here. There are lots of people in Europe and Asian countries waiting for the chance to live here, and because of all the illegals crossing the border, they cannot. You really think that's fair?
I do not agree with illegal immigrant amnesty. If it were up to me, we would ship every illegal back pronto.
If you understood ANYTHING about economics, you'd understand that anyone willing to work those menial jobs AND spend money here is going to be welcomed with open arms.
You refuse to see the big picture of things. Either that, or you are xenophobic.
We dislike illegal immigration.
Our country can't support everyone in the world.
I understand where you are coming from. :-(
I do understand economics. I understand that it's a myth that illegals take jobs that others won't do. I understand that many employers keep illegals in situations that are almost like slavery. Remember, I've lived in FL and TX.
And I know that if they're here illegally they should not be participating in government entitlement programs.
Do you understand that our government is in debt to other countries? That we don't have money for more entitlements?
So, 30 BILLION isn't enough "good will toward our fellowman," right??

Much of the food that is harvested and processed is done by illegal immigrants and/or migrant laborers. My friend didn't expect that his kids would be doing that kind of work either.
So please....tell me what kind of jobs do you think illegal immigrants are taking away from Americans?
This Lou Dobbs CNN report was aired on May 23, 2007 after House Minority Leader, John Boehner said the following in a speech at a reception for the Republican Rapid Responders; "I promised the President today that I would not say anything bad about this piece of shit bill...." For those who check the dates, the President was George W. Bush, and the amnesty bill in question was one he supported and hoped to sign into law.
Also in May of 2007, other senior Republicans said that the chances of the bill passing are "50/50" in the House and that the White House would spend its time lobbying Democrats, rather than Republicans, to achieve a majority. Again, for fact and date checkers, that White House would be the Bush Administration.
The bill was drafted by Senators John McCain and Ted Kennedy and was supported by President George W. Bush.
The bill was defeated in June of 2007.
In fact, in June of 2008, The McCain campaign said after a speech to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials that Obama had actually been an impediment to the carefully crafted immigration compromise.
“Barack Obama voted for five ‘poison pill’ amendments designed to kill the immigration reform deal,” said McCain spokesman Brian Rogers.
Then Senator, and now President, Obama did not, and does not support the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill Lou Dobbs laid out for us in the attached video clip, and according to Senator McCain Senator Obama was instrumental in killing the amnesty bill.
Illegal immigrant amnesty is opposed by 47% of Republicans, 51% of Democrats, and 46% of those not affiliated with either major party according to a Rasmussen Report Poll conducted after the introduction of McCain-Kennedy Immigration bill. I am confident the numbers are higher in the economic climate of 2009.
So, by all means, let us keep the pressure on all elected officials about Immigration reform. Let us write as informed members of the people who put them in office...and who can put them out.
And be thankful that John McCain no longer has the political capital to get his bill re-evaluated.
The only ones in the family who didn't learn as much English were the parents. When I met them, they were in their 80s and they still tried to learn, even at that age.
