I dunno. I was used to eating eggs from the farm. The store eggs taste like cardboard. Not that I ever ate cardboard but I imagine it tastes like that. :)
Chicken doesn't taste as good either.
When I buy refridgerated stuff I always dig way to the back and bottom. It's fresher and colder there.

Why pay extra for what you can get regular?
You are paying extra for an egg that is from a chicken that is grain fed, like all chickens are, and you get extra chemicals, called organics, added to the feed...
I wonder why your eggs taste aweful.

Brown eggs are very different in taste then white eggs. They are alot stronger in flavor naturally. But there is a good chance you've just been buying bad eggs right from the store. Try buying them from a different store and see what happens. Maybe there refrigerators aren't set at the proper temp., or something along those lines. I think someone told me or I read it somewhere that "free range" tastes alot different because they eat grasses and such and are not totally grain feed, but, I'm not so sure if that is true or not because I eat plain old eggs out of regular grocery store. Hope something in there is helpfull for you.

its simple it all has to do with what they are feeding the birds, the wrong food will makes the eggs tasty nasty switch brands because its not going to get any better.

I heard that before, since my grandfather raised chickens when I was growing up. There were certain things he wouldn't feed to his chickens, because he said it would affect the taste.
