Best comedy-- The Big Bang Theory, hands down. CBS

Best cop drama-- no question, Dark Blue. TNT

Best cop show that's really a "dramedy" -- Castle ABC

Best cop thriller/whodunit-- Criminal Minds CBS

Best military show-- Jethro Leroy Gibbs and crew on NCIS CBS

Best hospital show-- no competition, Grey's Anatomy. ABC

Best cop show with female lead-- just plain Brenda, don't even try to argue this one, The Closer. TNT

Best "insider" drama-- Sons of Anarchy, an inside look at an MC club. FX

Best "boy this is sick stuff" show-- Nip/Tuck continues to amaze. FX

Best sci-fi-- tough one, but my call is Dollhouse FOX

Best drama unique work-- Lie To Me, but don't lie about this show. FOX (it could have been "Rescue Me" on FX perhaps, but it is currently on hiatus.)

Best grifter show-- Leverage TNT

Best new show-- White Collar USANetwork

Best old show-- Both Law and Order, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent -- SVU sux. NBC

Best show with an FBI agent-- Bones Fox

Best hospital show that isn't Grey's Anatomy-- House FOX

Best news show-- The Factor FOX NEWS

Best animated show-- the original and still the best, The Simpsons FOX

For the record, reality TV sux, game shows suck, and Jay Leno sux in prime time because he killed off programming space for FIVE shows.

Wow, perhaps I watch too much TV *chuckle*

The Big Bang (BANG!), Criminal Minds, The Closer (Go Brenda!), and definitely, without a doubt my favorite is....JETHRO LEROY GIBBS! & ABBY!!!! NCIS.

Abby rocks, though I find her antics a wee bit childish at times, like when someone is in danger-- Ziva, WOW, what a BABE and what a TOUGH CHICK too *chuckle*

McProbie is so cute and adorable just like a teddy bear, and who can resist DiNozzo and his charm ??

Of course, Jethro is the STAR and the show just wouldn't be the same without him.

I really miss Jenny Shepard, as I do not like the new Director at all, Vance I believe is his name.

Lastly, what a character DUCKY is, eh ??? I just LOVE that guy, he's so obtuse, and reminds me of one of Bellasario's other charaters from Magnum PI-- Higgins-- they are one in the same really, just different names with different "jobs," though you could hardly call what Higgins did, "work." *chuckle*

Yeah, I miss Jenny Shepard, too! Ziva is awesome, Tim is adorable. DiNozzo? Not my type but I like how they are developing his character. But that was more so when Jethro "retired" and Jenny was in. They don't seem to be continuing that now.

And Ducky! Ah, Ducky. Remember his mother?

And Vance is a little dark, no pun intended. He just seems always unwilling to acknowledge just how well this team works together. But I see Jethro and he are starting to click a little bit. But I was upset when Jenny was killed.

And there was the woman before Zeva. Do you remember who that was?

Castle & Dollhouse top my list as well - I think those would be my top two. I do also enjoy Criminal Minds, NCIS, Bones and House is right up there. A couple of new ones that I'm liking this season - Flashforward and Stargate Universe.

man I can't believe I forgot FRINGE ! !
I dig that show...

I'm watching Flash Forward, BUT-- and it's a big but, I feel like this is going to be "Lost" all over again--- they'll run and run and run and run and NEVER tell us anything, and then, just cancel it and leave us hanging.

I'm still angry at ABC about Lost..... that really pissed me off....

I watch too much tv too. It would take awhile for me to make a list such as this but here are a couple of my favorites - my favorite comedy hands-down is actually a tie - The Middle on ABC and Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO. They both crack me up. My favorite who-done it is Monk, I also adore Trust Me on TNT (which is on hiatus but should be back soon), My favorite lawyer show is Damaged on Fox Cable, Favorite Reality is Dancing with the Stars, Favorite Serious Show is The Forgotten, Best Late Night is David Letterman - no matter what the scandal is - and I agree that the best animated has been The Simpsons for a very long time but I also have a soft spot for South Park.

man, I love that show Trust Me-- but I see nothing on the TNT website to suggest it is coming back. Damaged I'm pretty sure is done, won't be anymore episodes, but it was damn good. I don't really dig Christian Slater so I haven't even watched The Forgotten, and I CAN'T STAND South Park *chuckle*

Damaged will be back in the new year. I heard Glenn Close talk about it recently on a talk show. I adore it. I think Trust Me is also on in the new year. I didn't read anywhere that it was cancelled.

Even if you don't particularly like Christian Slater, you should give the show a chance. It is excellent. If you like the CSI shows, you'll like this. They figure out who the John or Jane Doe is. Very interesting show. Well done. I'm not big on CSI and have never been a fan but this show is really good.
