My throat is raw, my ears are ringing, and my back is killing me, but we had a great time. The opening acts were Cavo & Theory of a Deadman. I'd never heard of either, but really enjoyed their style. I preferred Cavo, I think. After Cavo played, they went out for a meet & greet autograph session, but despite being almost first there, people kept cutting and shoving their way to the front. We missed getting an autograph by 3 people.
After Theory of a Deadman, Cavo went back out, this time for photos only. Rae and I were able to get one! They were great. The drummer is the guy to the right of me, with the black spikey hair- man, he played topless, and boy is he ripped. -drool-
We got done, and sat down for a bit, when I FINALLY spotted Rae's friend. They had extra space over where they were sitting, so I let Rae sit with her friend, and her friend's older brother. I could see them from my spot, but I was ditched for Daughtry.
It was a fantastic show, and I'm really upset I didn't take my good camera. I wasn't sure if they'd allow it, or if it would get banged around, so I relied on my cell phone- which takes crappy photos :(

Ah well, it was worth it to take her to her first concert. And, lesson well learned- my new cell takes horrendously crappy photos. It has a zoom, but when you zoom, it's not actually zooming, it crops the photo in, so the subject is blurry, and the photo is much smaller. :(
