The World Series Has Begun!

The 2009 World Series is here!

This is what baseball fans dream of.

They of course, also dream of their teams being in the fall classic.

This year it is the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies going at it.

The time has come to crown baseball's champion, which will not be the first time for

either of these teams.

Good luck to them both.

By the way, it is 0-0 right now.

Have fun, but baseball in November?

It is going to happen.

I care about baseball as much as my honey cares about football. Not at all. I once spent considerable dollars buying season tickets to the Astros, otherwise known as the Lastros. At the stadium, games are barely tolerable because you can get up, walk around, look at pretty ladies, etc. On TV it moves along as quickly as drying paint. The pitcher adjusts his cap, realigns his scrotum, spits, checks the runners even if there or none, looks intently at the catcher with a look on his face that says, "are you kidding me, a curveball to this guy?" Shakes that off, gets a new signal then goes through the same boring routine, then after causing me to melt into my recliner in hopeless anger finally pitches------- ball two. Arrrggghhh!

I AM SO PSYCHED! I love baseball and I am excited for the world series. I'm watching it right now. Although the Phillies won last night I think the Yankees will win. Right now the score of tonight's game is 1-1. I want it to go to Philly with the series tied 1-1.
