Titles on everything from Animals to Yiddish. The year is 1955. Learning should stay fashioned in the “teacher talks, student listens” paradigm. However, a book from the local library is brought up, the channel of communication now peaked by curiosity, the classroom now vibrant with dialogue. She could not enjoy this , for she could not read, so she torched the book place !
